Packaging
Every once in a while we will have the opportunity to work with a client on a small packaging project. This usually involves a design for a solo product. Here are a few of them.
- Grandma Chungs Secret Garlic Sauce
Grandma Chung had been hand bottling her sauce for a few years before her family stepped in and asked for some help in tightening up the image in order to place it in specialty food stores.
- Young and Hungry
This isn’t quite packaging in the sense of a product, but it is a packaged proposal we were asked to design. We wanted to use the concept of deli wrap for the cover art to enhance the concept of small food producers.
- Xubaz
We developed the logo, and all packaging components for this functional scarf as well as trade show displays, product line sheets, brochures and sales posters. It’s a fun product that’s great for travel, or anytime you don’t want to carry a bag.
- Durango Coffee Company
A locally roasted coffee with a cross market of locals and visitors alike. We were looking for a design that would appeal to the gift market, play off of the cowboy roots of Durango, and have a little fun to boot!
- Dancing Willow Herbs
Dancing Willow Herbs makes a wide variety of herbal products including: skin care, nutrition, health, home and children’s care. With so many different products and the depth of each line, we needed to develop a system that was both beautiful and flexible. Most of the labels are printed in-house as needed to keep costs to a minimum.
- Candelaria’s
Candelaria’s was originally packaged as a salsa mix. We wanted to broaden the market appeal and repackaged it as a seasoning blend - thus appealing to people who couldn’t quite handle the heat. It worked well and found a home in the gift market as well.
